　　Drones are actually a collective term for unmanned aerial vehicles,which can be defined from a technical perspective as:unmanned fixed wing aircraft,unmanned vertical takeoff and landing aircraft[3],unmanned airships,unmanned helicopters,unmanned multi rotor aircraft,unmanned parafoil aircraft,etc.Compared with manned aircraft,it has advantages such as small size,low cost,convenient use,low requirements for combat environment,and strong battlefield survival ability.

　　In November 2013,the Civil Aviation Administration of China(CA)issued the"Interim Regulations on the Management of Pilots in Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems",which is managed by the China AOPA Association.According to the Regulations,drone operations in mainland China can be divided into 11 situations based on the size of the aircraft type and flight airspace.Only drones weighing 116 kilograms or more and airships weighing 4600 cubic meters or more are managed by the Civil Aviation Administration when flying in integrated airspace.Other situations,including the increasingly popular micro aerial photography aircraft,are managed by industry associations or handled by operators themselves.
